The Well: RJC Engineers

I recently was hired to showcase the work RJC Engineers was involved in at The Well. This place needs no introduction — The Well is one of the best examples of mixed-use development in the city of Toronto. A blend of retail, residential, office and endless amenities. It’s like a modern-day concept of a mall. What I love most about The Well is how unique every building, structure and facade is. The glass canopy, the centerpiece of the entire development, is an engineering marvel. The way it so effortlessly spans and fills the open space between each building creating an indoor / outdoor environment.

An incredible glass canopy covers three levels of retail and restaurants. Bringing light into the space and protection from the weather.

Looking up, there are lots of fascinating facades to admire. Varied massings give each tower a shape you wouldn’t expect to see.

It’s all in the details. Texture, material, shape. Unique is what makes The Well a world-class destination.
